Meet The Coach

Guy Herve
Kiyeck
I’m a former professional footballer with over 15 years’ experience playing in eight different countries — a journey that gave me the opportunity to compete at the highest levels, learn from world-class coaches, and immerse myself in the game I love.
Since retiring from professional leagues, I’ve turned my focus to coaching, working with both adults and youth across Asia and New Zealand.
My coaching career includes serving as:

-
Head Coach, Makati Elite Academy, Manila
-
Technical Director, Chin United FC (Asian Premier League)
-
Head Coach, Borussia Academy (German European International School, Singapore)
-
Head Coach, U23 Men’s Team, Northern Rovers Football Club, Auckland (2025 season)
-
Coach, U13s Talent Development Programme Boys, Northern Rovers Football Club, Auckland
-
Coach, U14s Talent Development Programme Boys, Northern Rovers Football Club, Auckland

I hold a US Soccer Federation F Coaching License and OFC/NZF C-License (assessments pending). Since moving to Auckland in 2021, I’ve coached Northern Rovers’ U13s and U14s TDP teams, and now lead the U23 Men’s squad.
Beyond competitive football, I’m deeply committed to growing the game at grassroots level. I’ve run soccer clinics in multiple countries, developed amateur coaches through “Coach the Coach” programmes, and attended elite training such as the Real Madrid coaching clinic and workshops with Borussia Mönchengladbach’s coaching team.
Fluent in English and French, with conversational skills in Mandarin and Bahasa Indonesian, I’ve also appeared as a guest on sports television shows — sharing my passion for football with wider audiences.
Wherever I coach, my aim is the same: to inspire players, develop skills, and instil a love for the game that lasts a lifetime.
